The hosted server wraps that pipeline with upload, animate and status tools. For documentary and memorial work it is a narrower but more predictable option than prompting a general model.",

"notes": "Checked 10 Oct 2026: initialize and tools/list answer anonymously (five tools, server version 1.1.0) and list_examples runs without an account; the official MCP Registry lists co.incarn/photo-animation. Tool descriptions come back in French. The animate_photo description says there is no free trial through the API and a developer plan starts at EUR 19 per month for 25 photos (EUR 0.76 each); the consumer site sells one-off packs from EUR 1.99 per photo. Each animation costs one credit, failed runs are refunded, and jobs take one to three minutes. There is no prompt control beyond a subtle motion hint, so this is not a general image-to-video tool: for that compare kling, runway or luma."
