"description": "Magic Hour's first-party remote server is generated from its OpenAPI spec with FastMCP, so every public endpoint arrives as a tool: text-, image- and video-to-video, lip sync, talking photos, face and character replacement, auto subtitles, image generation, editing, upscaling and background removal, plus voice generation and cloning. Creation tools return a project id and the credits charged immediately, and matching wait_for_*_project tools poll to completion and hand back exact signed download URLs. For a filmmaker-agent it is a broad single-vendor toolbox with the async plumbing already worked out.",

"notes": "Verified live 2026-09-15: initialize answered protocol 2025-06-18 as magic-hour 0.1.0, and an unauthenticated tools/list returned all 44 tools — discovery is public, calls need the key. The connect line is copied from magichour.ai/mcp. The OAuth is a shim, not delegated auth: mcp.magichour.ai names itself as both protected resource and authorization server, and the flow validates an API key and uses it as the access token, so the agent holds a full-account credential either way. Money: the same credits as the web app, $1 buys 400 in packs or 144k to 840k a year on the $12 to $66 monthly plans, and the pricing page lists API access as a paid-plan feature — we did not confirm that a free account can mint a working key. The server is a thin generated layer over the REST API, so tool names are long operationId-style strings and quality is whatever Magic Hour's underlying models deliver; the vendor's own setup page says only Claude, Claude Code and Codex are verified clients. The repo has no licence file and 6 stars, but the GitHub org dates from 2023 and the submitter's account states Magic Hour employment."
