What it does

Martini is the command surface for agentic filmmaking: one MCP connection that puts an entire film set — the latest video models, infinite production canvases, consistent characters, and a real timeline — under your agent's direction. It is an open platform, agent-friendly by design: the MCP server is a first-class product surface rather than an integration afterthought, so any MCP-capable agent (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, or one you built) gets the same full control of the set that the UI offers. The model roster stays current, and the server resolves natural-language model requests to the right engine. Fifty-nine registered tools span the pipeline: project and board context, reusable subjects and collections, prompt variables, frame extraction for shot chaining, image upload, multi-track timeline context and edits, model/job lookup, and approved generation with cost confirmation. Over 200 professional films have been made on Martini — aired as TV commercials, shown as artwork, and gone viral.

Remote MCP server maintained first-party by Martini (YC-backed), with live production endpoint https://www.martini.film/mcp returning OAuth protected-resource metadata and a Supabase-backed bearer challenge — re-confirmed 21 Sep 2026, and the install command above is the one the vendor's own Claude Code page prints. The 59-tool figure in the description comes from the backend source read in June 2026 and is not independently checkable from outside: the public docs publish a representative table of roughly 40 read and write tools and state explicitly that it is not the complete catalogue, so treat live `tools/list` as the count that matters. The narrower core profile the docs still advertise at https://www.martini.film/mcp-core — the same project, board, canvas, subject, upload, download, review and organization tools minus direct generation, for clients or directories that disallow AI media generation — did not answer as an MCP endpoint on 21 Sep 2026: POST initialize returns the marketing page as 200 text/html instead of JSON-RPC, on both the apex and www hosts, and the site's protected-resource metadata declares only https://www.martini.film/mcp. Use the full endpoint until that is fixed. Generation tools require explicit user approval of model, prompt, count, target shot, and estimated olive cost before spending credits. Public setup docs now cover Claude Desktop/Web, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Hermes, OpenClaw, and generic Streamable HTTP clients.
