VEED's hosted MCP for talking-head video: pick a character, pick a voice, send a script.

What it does

VEED's official remote MCP drives Fabric, its talking-head engine: agents browse 24+ stock characters and multi-language voices, price a render before committing, submit a script, then poll for the finished MP4. It is deliberately one job rather than an editing suite — the piece a film pipeline reaches for when a scene needs a presenter, a spokesperson insert, or a localized to-camera read without booking a shoot. Credit balance and workspace tools are exposed too, so an agent can check what a batch will cost before it spends.

Field notes

Endpoint verified alive on 17 Aug 2026 (401 unauthenticated), Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.0. Seven tools, and that is the whole surface: stock characters only — nothing in the documented toolset uploads your own plate or clones a voice, so this does not replace Sync or Hedra for footage you shot. Costs roughly 8 credits per second of output, billed against AI Playground credits that come with paid VEED plans or are bought separately, so call confirm_fabric_video first; create_fabric_video is async and returns a job id you poll with get_generation_status. VEED publishes no CLI one-liner — the documented Claude path is the connector directory at claude.ai, and the command shown here is the generic Streamable HTTP form. The linked repo is documentation plus an Agent Skill, not the server: the server is closed-source and hosted, the repo has ~6 stars, and it was last pushed 1 Aug 2026, so judge maintenance by VEED the product rather than by repo activity.
